Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of innovative data developer features, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will build and enhance Visual Studio Code extensions and AI-assisted workflows for the Azure SQL and SQL Server platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build and enhance Visual Studio Code extensions and developer tools for Azure SQL and SQL Server platform
• Develop AI-assisted workflows and GitHub Copilot experiences for data developers
• Lead feature development end-to-end, from concept and design through implementation, release, and support

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• Equivalent experience may be considered
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements
