Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support Department of Defense and Department of War customers, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and develop advanced software solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead projects while mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and deploy software utilizing ML/AI capabilities for mission-driven applications
• Lead projects and mentor less experienced developers while enhancing and supporting existing applications
• Engage with analytical staff to gather requirements, generate ideas, and develop documentation for new software solutions

Required qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in full-stack application development
• Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python, JavaScript/TypeScript (React or similar), and SQL
• Experience with Docker, Git/GitHub, and modern software development practices
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance and U.S. Citizenship
• Experience with rapid prototyping and capability development, including building REST APIs and microservices
