Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the entire front-end surface of Volcano, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect and build UI systems, including log views and chart components, while collaborating with the team to drive product direction in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the front-end architecture and visual systems, ensuring technical precision and visual intent
• Build and integrate log views, chart components, and graph-based visualizations within a Next.js monorepo
• Participate in collaborative design sessions and contribute to PR reviews to maintain code quality

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of production front-end engineering experience with a track record of owning UI systems
• Expertise in server-side rendering, particularly with Next.js, Remix, or TanStack Start
• Proficiency in React and experience operating within large-scale monorepo structures
• Fluency in full-stack systems, including authentication architectures and API design
• Experience delivering data-heavy UIs, such as log views and chart systems, with a focus on quality
