Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, prototype, implement, and support scalable solutions for the Monolith Platform team, enhancing collaboration experiences for millions of developers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and ship high-quality technical solutions that scale across multiple services
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, encouraging team growth through code reviews and collaboration
• Own the health and quality of systems, participating in on-call rotations and addressing live incidents

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related field with proven experience in production software coding in languages such as C, C++, Java, JavaScript, Go, Ruby, Rust, or Python
• Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, with varying years of experience based on degree level
• Experience with CI/CD tools for automated pipelines
• Strong understanding of system architecture and API design
• Ability to write maintainable code and participate in code experiments and prototyping
