Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To develop core components within an engineering pod, the remote Senior Software Engineer will focus on designing and optimizing scalable backend services and RESTful APIs, while promoting engineering excellence through code reviews and collaborative teamwork.

Key responsibilities:

• Measure and optimize the performance, scalability, and uptime of backend services
• Conduct design and code reviews to uphold engineering rigor and standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional user experience

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in building clean, well-architected, distributed, and scalable software
• Strong command of Java and Java-based microservices with Spring Boot
• Experience designing and supporting customer-facing RESTful APIs
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent program
• Fluent with unit/integration testing concepts and tools, including JUnit/Mockito
