Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the next generation of cuEST development, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect, implement, optimize, and deploy production-grade GPU solutions for quantum chemistry while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the engineering mission of cuEST from concept to deployment, ensuring high-performance math library delivery
• Lead technical efforts for specific code modules and contribute to team-based engineering projects
• Engage with the quantum chemistry community to promote GPU-accelerated solutions and integrate new developments into the team's work

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in developing high-performance numerical methods for scientific computing
• 5+ years of experience in developing production-grade quantum chemistry packages
• PhD or equivalent experience in computational physics, computational chemistry, computer science, or related fields
• Expert knowledge of GPU software development and performance optimization
• Proficiency in C++, CUDA, and common quantum chemistry tools
