Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support cloud-based application development, the remote contract-to-hire Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud-based applications from development through production
• Develop and support APIs and microservices that integrate across multiple teams
• Collaborate closely with existing engineers and adjacent delivery teams to contribute to platform expansion

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Proficiency in frontend technologies, specifically React
• Experience with backend technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Python, and FastAPI
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions
