Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a mission-driven platform team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build core systems for learning experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement platform capabilities that deliver reliable, user-focused features
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to create and enhance features based on customer needs
• Take ownership of development phases, from design to production, ensuring system performance and quality

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a proven track record in building complex systems
• Experience with event-driven architecture and system integrations
• Hands-on experience writing automated tests as part of the delivery workflow
• Startup or early-stage company experience, ideally as a founding engineer
• Proficient in relevant technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, AWS, and SQL/NoSQL databases
