Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an analytically minded Senior Software Engineer, the full-time remote position will involve writing clean Python code, collaborating on feature design, and engaging with stakeholders to develop solutions for complex operational challenges.

Key responsibilities:

• Write and maintain clean Python code for various parts of the insurance rating lifecycle
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement features in a shared codebase
• Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions

Required qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python with experience in large codebases and version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Python development and data analysis
• Experience building internal tools or applications that improve operational efficiency
• Familiarity with front-end development in JavaScript/Typescript is a plus
• Experience with production deployment patterns and knowledge of P&C insurance is a plus
