Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning meaningful subsystems of the inference platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will drive design through production, focusing on areas such as model onboarding, serving APIs, and performance optimization, while mentoring engineers in a remote or Pittsburgh-based role.

Key responsibilities:

• Own technical design and delivery of subsystems in a high-throughput, low-latency inference platform
• Develop robust API layers and developer SDKs for distributed inference orchestration
• Optimize inference performance and build observability for system insights and metrics

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience building and operating backend distributed systems end to end
• Strong fundamentals in data-intensive distributed systems and performance profiling
• Hands-on experience with large-scale inference services on GPUs
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Go, Rust, or Python
