Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance payment processing systems, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and develop features for an ecommerce platform, lead integrations with external payment platforms, and ensure robust software delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design and development of product features for payment processing and subscription billing within agile teams
• Integrate with external platforms such as payment processors and alternative payment methods
• Debug complex issues and optimize system performance while mentoring junior team members

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience delivering commercial SaaS solutions using Java
• 4+ years of experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL storage
• 3+ years of experience implementing RESTful service-oriented architectures with public APIs
• Experience with Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, and RDS
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
