Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support Department of Defense operations, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain complex software systems remotely, ensuring secure and scalable solutions while leading small project teams and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Develop and execute test plans to validate software functionality and performance, identifying and resolving defects
• Lead small project teams, providing technical guidance and collaborating with project managers to ensure successful delivery of solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant experience or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Solid understanding of software development life cycles, including design, coding, testing, and deployment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on moderately complex assignments
