Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and development of complex software systems, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, provide technical guidance to junior engineers, and drive innovation in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications
• Collaborate with teams to translate project requirements into technical specifications
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior and mid-level engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development
• Extensive experience in programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler
• Experience in IBM mainframe development, including CICS, VSAM, and JCL
• Experience in Life & Annuity Policy Administration, particularly with the Cyberlife Application
