Job Summary

Focused on building scalable software platforms, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will design and implement backend systems and APIs using Python, AWS, and related technologies while participating in Agile processes and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs deployed in AWS
• Develop scalable, high-performance solutions that meet business requirements
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure high-quality software delivery

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend software engineering focused on enterprise-grade applications
• 4+ years developing scalable, high-performance microservices
• 4+ years designing cloud-native architectures and implementing infrastructure as code
• Advanced proficiency in Python 3 with expert-level knowledge
• 2+ years of front-end development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like React or Angular
