Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will design and implement high-performance packet processing components and manage distributed session coordination while participating in on-call rotations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data plane engineering components using XDP/eBPF and VPP GTP-U tunnel management
• Build and evolve session state coordination across multiple services utilizing NATS, Redis, Kafka, and gRPC
• Write tests for protocol implementations and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for automated deployments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience with C and working knowledge of Go
• Hands-on experience with VPP, DPDK, or eBPF/XDP
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including IP routing and packet encapsulation
• Practical Linux systems knowledge, including kernel and networking stack
• Readiness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotations
