Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the Dynatrace platform, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build Kubernetes Operators in Go, focusing on automating the lifecycle of the platform while working remotely from Switzerland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Kubernetes Operators to automate installation, configuration, upgrades, and operations of the Dynatrace platform
• Ensure a seamless developer and operator experience in Kubernetes environments by collaborating with multiple engineering teams
• Continuously improve the reliability and observability of the Operator, facilitating safe rollouts and automated recovery

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Golang with a strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming principles
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes, containers, and Kubernetes Operators
• A background in Software Engineering or related technical studies
• Passion for building high-performance, scalable algorithms in the cloud-native space
• A hands-on, collaborative approach to problem-solving and delivering high-quality solutions
