Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely within the U.S., the full-time salaried Senior Software Engineer will design and operate scalable data engineering platforms, architect modular data systems, and influence data and AI platform architecture using modern ETL/ELT frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and build scalable data engineering platforms using Azure Data Factory and cloud-native pipelines
• Architect modular data systems that support advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases
• Drive best practices in data modeling, pipeline design, and governance in regulated environments

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of professional software development experience
• 8+ years of data engineering experience building enterprise-scale ETL/ELT solutions
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting for data processing
• 2+ years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL development for data transformation and performance tuning
• 2+ years of production support experience, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
