Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Video Development Team, the full-time remote-friendly position will design, build, and test software for broadcast equipment, focusing on video and audio manipulation, media encoding, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and develop software applications for Windows and Linux systems, including video and audio manipulation services
• Collaborate with the architecture team and other development members in a dynamic environment
• Perform code reviews, develop unit tests, and document high-level feature requests into manageable tasks

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with strong skills in Java and C++
• 3+ years of experience in multi-threaded application development
• Strong knowledge of Linux and BASH CLI, as well as version control systems like Git
• Experience in object-oriented design and software engineering principles
