Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will design and build shared backend services and APIs, own the full software development lifecycle, and contribute to system design decisions while ensuring scalability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build shared backend services and APIs used across multiple systems
• Own the full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and iteration
• Ensure services are scalable, reliable, and reusable while improving system cohesion

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend expertise with the ability to operate across the full stack
• Experience designing service-oriented or distributed systems
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) principles
• Experience deploying and operating applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
