Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To drive the development of integrations, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will focus on maintaining and enhancing DataDome's JavaScript Tag, building server-side integration modules, and mentoring team members while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the JavaScript Tag for performance, resilience, security, and privacy across customer websites
• Build and improve server-side integration modules for various edge platforms and runtimes
• Drive technical direction and best practices for integration components while mentoring other engineers

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with familiarity in modern web standards
• Solid working proficiency in at least one other backend language (Python, Go, Java, Ruby)
• Good understanding of web protocols and standards (HTTP, TCP, cookies, DNS, TLS)
• Experience mentoring engineers or driving technical decisions within a team
