Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a next-generation research data platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design and build scalable back-end services, develop data pipelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using modern cloud-native technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable back-end services for data-intensive applications
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, validation, and transformation
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or backend development
• Strong programming skills in Python, with exposure to Java or Go
• Experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerization, and microservices architecture
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
