Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the infrastructure and reliability for WeTravel's product engineering, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will architect AWS environments, enhance developer experience, and lead reliability initiatives in a hybrid work setting.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and manage AWS environments for scalability and cost efficiency while implementing Infrastructure-as-Code practices
• Develop and expand reliability programs, defining platform SLIs/SLOs and improving incident response capabilities
• Enhance developer experience through internal platforms, CI/CD, and tooling to support product engineers effectively

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, containerization, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code
• Proven track record of designing reliability programs at scale, including SLIs/SLOs and incident management
• Experience with security compliance frameworks in a SaaS/fintech context
• Strong ability to communicate infrastructure complexity and its business impact to leadership
• Startup or scale-up mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and a bias toward action
