Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a research data platform, the fully remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain back-end services that enable impactful scientific insights through data processing and integration workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines and automation scripts in a cloud environment
• Support the ingestion, processing, and discoverability of research data
• Utilize cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery and Dataflow

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with Linux-based systems and containerized deployment using Docker
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of data validation and ingestion practices in a regulated environment
