Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, collaborating closely with product and design teams to enhance AI capabilities and improve customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and third-party integrations while communicating technical decisions to the team
• Collaborate with product and design teams to balance user needs, business goals, and technical trade-offs for each feature
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural discussions, ensuring high standards of code quality and delivery practices

Required qualifications

• Solid backend experience in Elixir, Go, Python, or a comparable server-side language
• Deep understanding of backend systems, API design, and data modeling
• Familiarity with ML/LLM systems, including prompt engineering and model behavior
• Several years of experience shipping production software and leading projects from spec to launch
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work collaboratively across team boundaries
