Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing technology team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and implement GraphQL APIs while leading the expansion of semantic API architecture and collaborating with Data Engineering teams, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Designs and implements GraphQL APIs for unified data access across multiple systems
• Leads the development of semantic API architecture, focusing on schema design and data governance
• Mentors junior engineers and drives quality improvement processes, including code reviews and performance optimization

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of software engineering experience with 3-5 years focused on API architecture and data-intensive applications
• Expert-level proficiency in GraphQL and AWS, including experience with AWS AppSync and Lambda
• Proficiency in Node.js and Python for backend development and data processing
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and DynamoDB
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies
