Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Excited to innovate in cloud programming, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure as code solutions, enhancing platform engineering productivity and developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and leadership to shape technical strategy and translate business requirements into customer-centric solutions
• Design and architect cost-effective solutions focusing on security, scalability, and performance across cloud and self-hosted environments
• Write production-quality code and extend SDK and providers for Pulumi Cloud functionality across multiple programming languages

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a software engineer with a strong background in cloud-based systems architecture
• Expertise in multiple programming languages such as Go, TypeScript, Python, Java, and C#
• Experience with deployment orchestration and infrastructure-as-code tooling
• Proven ability to navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions with incomplete information
• Passion for incorporating AI tools and LLMs to enhance product capabilities and user experience
