Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will develop foundational systems for Fountain's workforce management software, focusing on platform capabilities, performance, security, and stability for high-traffic production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Ship platform capabilities across all customer and internal products
• Own performance, security, and stability for high-traffic production systems
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver customer impact

Required qualifications

• A minimum of five years in a professional engineering role focused on backend development
• Expert-level systems design with a track record of launching production-ready systems
• Demonstrated experience with agentic or LLM-based systems
• Ability to thrive in autonomous and ambiguous environments
• Excellent written communication skills for asynchronous collaboration across time zones
