Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To develop foundational systems that power the entire Fountain ecosystem, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will ship platform capabilities, own performance and security for high-traffic production systems, and enhance agentic systems while collaborating with product and engineering teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ship platform capabilities across all customer and internal products
• Own performance, security, and stability for high-traffic production systems
• Lead architectural decisions for human and agentic interfaces

Required qualifications

• A minimum of five years in a professional engineering role focused on backend development
• Expert-level systems design with a track record of launching production-ready systems
• Demonstrated experience with agentic or LLM-based systems
• Ability to thrive in autonomous and ambiguous environments
• Excellent written communication skills for cross-time zone collaboration
