Senior Software Engineer
Job Summary
Working virtually, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will plan, design, and develop cloud-based software as part of a SCRUM team, managing project priorities and timelines while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Translate logical application specifications into physical designs and write secure application code
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, troubleshoot applications, and analyze performance to correct deficiencies
- Mentor junior team members and define individual work assignments within the development team
Required qualifications
- 8+ years' experience with InterSystems Health, IRIS, or Health Connect (Ensemble/Cach)
- 5+ years' experience with FHIR (R4) and building/consuming RESTful healthcare APIs
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments and leading technical integrations
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, specifically GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and core systems concepts
