Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To build and scale foundational compute infrastructure, the remote Senior Software Engineer - Kubernetes Operations will design, maintain, and enhance highly available Kubernetes systems while leading project milestones and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure at scale
• Lead design efforts for components/features and contribute to architecture decisions
• Mentor engineers on Kubernetes best practices and develop automation tools to improve CI/CD pipelines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on production experience with Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of container technologies such as Docker
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Go or Python
