Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a cutting-edge cybersecurity platform, the remote Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and deploy scalable cloud-based software systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving software delivery from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance, resilient cloud-based software systems for cybersecurity applications
• Drive software delivery by following SDLC processes and ensuring quality through automated testing
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Platform Engineering teams to identify and resolve system performance issues

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in distributed-systems and backend software engineering
• Expert knowledge of Golang (4+ years); knowledge of Ruby is preferred but not required
• Strong experience with microservices, REST API design, and asynchronous messaging technologies like Google PubSub and Kafka
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments (GCP preferred)
• Proven ability to work on agile teams and thrive in a collaborative environment
