Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a remote-first environment, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will shape the provider experience by designing scalable systems and delivering impactful software solutions for Rula's Provider Growth, Acquisition & Supply Management team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, distributed systems that enhance the provider onboarding process and improve access to care
• Lead high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery, ensuring alignment among stakeholders
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve delivery velocity and code quality while mentoring junior engineers

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on web applications
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, React, and Node.js, along with functional and object-oriented programming knowledge
• Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure distributed systems
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools to enhance software delivery
• Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and navigating trade-offs effectively
