Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading technical initiatives in a full-time remote capacity, the Senior Software Engineer will optimize team delivery, drive architectural decisions, and build core application components essential for organizational growth.

Key responsibilities

• Implement scalable and maintainable software systems aligned with technical roadmaps and business goals
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, and advocate for best practices in software development
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business objectives into technical requirements

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent degree (required); M.S. in Computer Science (preferred)
• 8+ years of experience architecting and maintaining multi-tier distributed web applications using Ruby, Java, JavaScript, and Python
• 5+ years of experience with architecting and maintaining JSON APIs
• Extensive knowledge of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecture
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
