Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance the borrower experience on RocketLoans.com, the full-time remote Senior Software Engineer will focus on frontend development, A/B testing, and analytics to improve conversion rates and user outcomes while mentoring other engineers and ensuring code quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product and technical initiatives, from problem identification to measurable outcomes
• Collaborate with product and business partners to make impactful tradeoffs and measure success through conversion and user reliability
• Continuously seek improvements in conversion and product experience while maintaining engineering standards and practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Proven ability to own features across both frontend and backend development
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring
• Familiarity with handling regulated or sensitive data responsibly
• Comfortable making architectural decisions and tradeoffs in a full-stack environment
