Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a remote-first team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will focus on designing, developing, and releasing high-quality software features for the Huntress Security Platform, primarily utilizing Ruby on Rails and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage the technical development of features for the Portal, including UX/UI and API work
• Develop high-quality software and architecture, setting standards for team excellence
• Collaborate with Growth teams to optimize data-driven features and user flows

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience developing complex software products
• 5+ years of programming experience in Ruby on Rails
• Strong defensive coding skills with a focus on secure system design
• Experience with JavaScript and databases such as Postgres
• Experience using AI coding agents to accelerate development
