Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Command and Control Incident Management Emergency Response Application (C2IMERA) program, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and troubleshoot mission-critical software, utilizing modern programming languages and Agile tools, with the flexibility of remote work while preferring candidates who can occasionally be onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and debug software using languages such as Java and C++
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and collaborate with team members using Agile methodologies
• Develop maintainable code and automated tests while ensuring comprehensive documentation and specifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience
• Active Secret clearance or higher, with the ability to maintain it during employment
• Hands-on experience with Java, C++, and JavaScript frameworks such as React
• Ability to apply software development process fundamentals independently
• Strong motivation to learn new programming languages, tools, and frameworks
