Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Go, the full-time remote position will design, build, and manage critical Go-based services for the Checkout & Gameplay team, tackling complex technical challenges and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build backend services that are performant, scalable, and reliable
• Lead the technical delivery of complex features from product requirements through deployment
• Diagnose performance bottlenecks and improve the resilience of distributed systems

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience with significant Go services development
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-component features in a team environment
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Expert-level Go proficiency with a solid understanding of API design
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
