Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the C2IMERA program, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug mission-critical software for the US Air Force, with the flexibility of remote work and a preference for candidates who can occasionally be onsite in Morgantown, WV.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software using modern programming languages, primarily Java and C++
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle and utilize Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
• Collaborate with team members to create maintainable code and automated tests while contributing to documentation and specifications

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 2+ years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree
• US Citizenship with an active Secret clearance or higher
• Hands-on experience with Java/C++ and object-oriented programming
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks such as React
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplined engineering team
