Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Joining the Core Experiences Team, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product teams to design and optimize APIs and backend services, enhancing user experience across platforms while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects and navigate integration and UX tradeoffs
• Optimize existing functionalities for improved performance and user feedback
• Develop and ship cloud functions and backend services using Kotlin

Required qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred
• Strong systems thinking and ability to design end-to-end solutions
• Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-growth environment
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers
