Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services using Python and Flask while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and high-performance RESTful APIs
• Collaborate with frontend developers and optimize application performance while troubleshooting production issues
• Participate in architecture discussions and mentor junior engineers to uphold engineering best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5-7 years of professional software development experience with strong proficiency in Python and Flask
• Solid experience designing and building RESTful APIs and web services
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and both relational and NoSQL databases
