Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a backend-focused Senior Software Engineer, this full-time remote position will design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices and production systems on Google Cloud Platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven capabilities and enhance search technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable microservices architectures and APIs
• Develop and maintain backend services with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and performance
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices while ensuring system reliability through monitoring and observability

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in software engineering, covering the full software development lifecycle
• 3+ years of experience building cloud-native applications (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, Kotlin, or Go with a focus on backend and API development
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing microservices, including API design
• Experience with search technologies such as ElasticSearch/OpenSearch/Solr
