Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning end-to-end product and technical initiatives, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will work remotely to develop and maintain systems for identity and bank-account verification, income verification, and fraud detection while collaborating with third-party providers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable identity verification systems that minimize fraud while ensuring a seamless client experience
• Collaborate with product and business partners to translate problem statements into measurable outcomes and make impactful tradeoffs
• Set engineering standards and mentor team members by demonstrating best practices in code quality and architectural decisions

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Proven experience in building and supporting production software across frontend and backend
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production monitoring
• Familiarity with handling regulated or sensitive data (PII/PIFI) responsibly
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and experience with Docker and AWS
