Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of foundational systems and developer integration tooling, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design and build mission-critical platform systems while collaborating with various engineering teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and own platform systems and integrations that support operations, fulfillment, and data science
• Partner with stakeholders to define technical approaches and break down large initiatives into incremental deliverables
• Drive technical discussions and improve system reliability through participation in on-call rotations and code quality initiatives

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 3+ years of professional Python development experience
• Experience building backend services using Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• Strong SQL experience, including relational data modeling and performance tuning
• Experience designing and operating production applications in AWS or another major cloud platform
