Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Platform Software Engineer will architect and build platform infrastructure, drive seamless migrations, and develop scalable backend services while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reliability and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate foundational components of a multi-cell platform, including service routing and cloud networking
• Develop and automate tooling for migrating customer accounts from legacy environments to a new architecture at scale
• Write robust backend services and infrastructure code primarily in Go and Python, while tackling cloud networking challenges

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend roles supporting SaaS applications
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Go or Python, with experience in building large-scale distributed systems
• Deep expertise in modern cloud infrastructure and hands-on experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
