Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Building and improving systems for migrating and preserving government records, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will engineer software products end-to-end on a cloud-native stack while working remotely as part of a cross-functional team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance systems that ensure government records are searchable and accessible
• Engineer software solutions using a cloud-native stack, collaborating with researchers, designers, and product managers
• Advocate for lean-agile practices and mentor other engineers to strengthen the team's capabilities

Required qualifications

• Proven ability to write clean, reusable code and produce high-quality software
• Experience with end-to-end software engineering on a cloud-native stack
• Understanding of secure software development and compliance with federal standards
• Foundational knowledge of data engineering and persistent data handling
