Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and prototyping of generative AI experiences, the full-time Principal Engineer, Software will collaborate with the Office of the CTO to enhance the Hivemind product's user experience and conduct user research to inform development, all while working remotely with occasional travel to a Shield AI location.

Key responsibilities

• Design and prototype generative AI experiences to accelerate autonomy development
• Collaborate with the Office of the CTO to define the vision and documentation for the Hivemind product
• Lead user experience design efforts for Hivemind Generative AI and enhance user experiences across related products

Required qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in developing large, production-quality software systems
• 5+ years of experience with React/Node/Typescript/Javascript development
• Strong understanding of full-stack web development and modern software engineering best practices
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and CI/CD environments
• Fluid intelligence to operate effectively in ambiguous conditions and drive technical efforts
