Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer with expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript, this remote position will focus on maintaining and extending critical open-source JavaScript frameworks while ensuring security and stability for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like Angular or React
• Maintain and improve forks for key JavaScript projects, ensuring compatibility and backporting fixes
• Identify, reproduce, and patch CVE vulnerabilities in collaboration with the Security Team for responsible disclosure

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript with experience in major frameworks (Angular, Vue, React, etc.)
• Familiarity with Node.js internals and the npm ecosystem
• Experience with open-source contribution or maintenance
• Knowledge of secure software practices and vulnerability triage (CVE, OSV, or Snyk)
• Experience building and maintaining automated build/test/deploy workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
