Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Go) to join a fully remote team, this role involves developing and maintaining high-quality web applications, collaborating across functions to build features, and ensuring performance through testing and debugging.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Go, Vue.js, and other technologies
• Build features that span both front-end and back-end concerns while collaborating with product management and design teams
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure code quality and performance

Required qualifications

• Proficiency in writing advanced Go and working with large Go codebases
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Linux, and Vue.js, or related technologies with a willingness to learn
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and working with relational databases
• Thorough understanding of modern software systems, including platform, database, and API responsibilities
• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, and familiarity with network design and security is a plus
