Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a core contributor to the Go-based backend and the open-source OpenTDF project, the full-time Senior Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain foundational services that power a data security platform, tackling complex engineering challenges in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain core backend platform and services using Go
• Contribute to the open-source OpenTDF project, shaping its future and ensuring its success
• Engineer and deploy solutions for complex enterprise and federal customer environments, utilizing Terraform and GitOps tooling

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend development
• Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) and experience building production-grade, scalable services
• Experience with microservice and monolithic architectures, APIs (gRPC, REST), and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform
