Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary

Collaborating with the product team, the remote Senior Software Engineer will develop and maintain applications, write efficient code, and drive the technical vision for key product areas while championing best practices and mentoring teammates.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a growing set of applications and features in collaboration with the product team
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across the full stack
• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems while mentoring teammates through code reviews and pair programming

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails and its ecosystem
• Proficiency with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJs, and React
• Strong experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Experience maintaining applications in a cloud environment
